The Soccer Program
Step One: Explore & Settle In
Children are introduced to the program through fun, familiar games that help them feel comfortable and confident. Sessions focus on listening, moving freely, and exploring the ball through simple activities and games that fit the weekly theme.
Step Two: Move & Coordinate
As children become more settled, sessions introduce more structured movement and coordination activities. Children practice balance, jumping, stopping and starting, and gentle ball skills through obstacle courses, dribbling games, and imaginative challenges.
Step Three: Control & Confidence
Children begin developing greater control of their movements and the ball. Sessions include dribbling, stopping the ball, simple passing, and goal-scoring games, all delivered in a fun, non-competitive way that encourages confidence and independence.
Step Four: Play & Apply
Children use their skills in small, playful game scenarios. Sessions focus on teamwork, taking turns, and making simple decisions, helping children apply what they’ve learned while still keeping fun and enjoyment at the centre of every session.
